The discrimination against women hinders development in rural Africa. In Ethiopia, Menschen für Menschen trains model families in gender equality. They are economically successful and become role models in their villages.

Menschen für Menschen asked Ethiopian children to draw pictures from their lives and tell their stories. The pictures show what is important to them: a longing for security, community, and a future – much stronger than material dreams.
