Endlich glücklich!

Wenn in Äthiopien Frauen von ihren Männern im Stich gelassen werden, sind sie ganz auf sich gestellt. Es gibt keinen helfenden Staat. Doch ohne Hilfe ist ihr Leben oft kaum erträglich. 

Was können wir tun, um den Kindern eine bessere Kindheit zu bieten? Wir haben eine Antwort gefunden. In unserem Kinderprojekt in der Stadt Debre Berhan gehen einheimische Sozialarbeiterinnen von Tür zu Tür. Eine davon ist unsere Kollegin Martha Eshetu, eine Heldin des Wandels. «Wer den Kindern helfen will, muss auch den Müttern helfen», sagt Martha.
