Tseganesh Mamo, 21: "My family is very poor. My mother washed the neighbors' clothes until she got sick. I wanted to help her, dropped out of school at 13 to go to Dubai to work for rich people. But I was too young, they didn't take me. Then I lived with my sister, baked injerra for money. But the money was barely enough to rent our room, sometimes we couldn't buy food. After training, I want to work as a cook in a hotel for a few years, and my dream is to open my own café after that."
