Selomie Alemayehu, 22: "In high school, I failed the final exam in grade 12. I thought: 'Over, out, finished!' I am not allowed to continue my studies in public schools. I fell into a hole, was depressed for months, because I have no money for private colleges. I saw no way out – until I heard about the training offered by the Menschen für Menschen foundation. It was here that I discovered my love for baking cakes. I can imagine working in a pastry shop. Later I want to open my own business - I can do it, because we also learn how to manage as efficiently as possible."
