Tizita Kasim, 21: „After my father's death, my mother brought me and my four siblings through on her own. She baked and sold injerra (flat bread). She cannot read and write and has no idea about accounting. Often she had no money to buy grain and no one to lend her any. We had to skip meals. Thanks to my education, I will be able to help my mother. I am going to open a street snack bar, and on the side I want to study accounting at a private college. Over the years, I have understood how important it is to master numbers.“
