The first trucks, each loaded with 40 tonnes of aid, have arrived at the camps for climate refugees in Borena in southern Ethiopia. A total of around 4500 people received emergency aid. Per person, 15 kilogrammes of maize flour and 0.5 litres of cooking oil were handed out, as well as washing soaps, water canisters and tent sheets. Especially the youngest children suffer severely from lack and hunger. Due to the ongoing drought in southern Ethiopia, two more emergency aid distributions are planned in the coming weeks. 🆘 Help now with an emergency aid package: With 60 Swiss francs you ensure the survival of one person for three months, thank you very much! 🙏🏼
